RECAP: Staci Frenes was our guest worship leader and artist this past Sunday. Its safe to say that Sunridge loves Staci! Her songwriting and singing are known quantities to me over the years but I also learned how adept she is at leading people into worship. Recap: I was in Las Vegas so I hope some of my Sunridge peeps will speak up about what went down. But, my daughter helped lead with Bob and Brent and the video is pretty good! I missed my Sunridge fix, but had a great time at Central Christian in Henderson, NV. At Central they also did Hossana, by the way, and their worship leader Ariel reminded me of my daughter. RECAP: This weekend at the Sunridge we continued our “Give Love Away” theme.  Again, the song “God of this City” seemed to stir things up.  The idea of reaching the city seemed refreshing to the things we usually sing in worship services at our church.  In our services we reminded people that God is good…all the time.  No matter where our stock portfolio hits or how we might feel, God is good.  It may sound simple, but really being reminded of this powerful truth part of why coming to worship services week after week is important.
