Recap: This week was the beginning of a new era for Sunridge Community Church. Britt Sipe, our Interim Pastor brought it home with a message about change: Change Happens. The room was electric and once again I heard our people sing out, shout out and participate. God is about to do something very special during this season of transition. We are so fortunate to have a leader like Britt take us through this time.

Today I had a friend and fellow worship leader from Orange, CA sit in with us and co-lead the worship music. Chad Markley for his day job owns a consulting business in the technology field. It was a treat to have a friend of mine come in and our church was blessed by his leadership. Thanks Chad!

Another element of interest this week was a bumper video for the sermon with a series of pictures of Mel Gram’s life from birth to today.

Set List: This week was about change and the hope was that our songs would reflect the words we needed to sing to God during this season.

  • Everybody Praise the Lord – Lincoln Brewster
  • Glory to God Forever – Fee Band
  • You Never Let Go – Matt Redman
  • Jesus Messiah – Chris Tomlin
  • Everlasting God – Brenton Brown

  4. Great set Rich. It was great to meet you this week, I was really encouraged by our conversation. I’ll be praying and believing God with you and the body there at Sunridge during this transition. God’s at work on something glorious, I am sure!
