yeah…most of the pastors and local ministry leaders here meet in one of the many St.Arbucks
i don’t think they like the office that much
I am with them….an office can be confining
Keeps us out of the bars?
could be, but some of us like a pint of something once in a while
How about because it’s the one acceptable vice/addiction in the Christian community.
you mean coffee is a vice!?!? GASP!
Sorry. My internet is wiggin. Feel free to delete that first one. And this one if you wanna.
I am keeping it because it is fun to keep this one Bobby
Actually, the one I was talking about is gone. So i don’t know what the heck is going on here.
of course I deleted the duplicate
Because we work insanely long hours, usually have a lot to do by ourselves, and coffee just seems to be the pick me up we sometimes need. Plus…it just tastes good!
I love coffee, Rich, but AUUGGHH – why do people use apostrophes in the wrong places?? AUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! Absolutely drives me to drink.
Thankfully, my drug of choice is…. bold, black, thick coffee!
what is an apostrophe error…is this this sin of apostasy or what?
Why do CHRISTIANS love coffee so much? I am going to the Kirkpatricks, not the Kirkpatrick’s, for coffee. Well, actually, I’m too far away…
2 Words: Christian CRACK
We don’t do drugs so we do coffee! Can’t start my day without it.
Food for thought, though… why is it that Christians look down on smokers and drinkers, but gorge themselves at church potlucks? And also consider it okay to over-consume coffee as well? Not to lay any guilt trips, but just wondering if anyone else thinks that is a bit of a double standard.
I think Christians like coffee so much because (1) PEOPLE like coffee so much, and (2) Christians are people too. You just see lots of ministry peeps in coffee houses during the day because, unlike most people, we can get away with doing such things on work time.
Of course… people like coffee… but, it seems disproportionate is all.
well, we’re all burned out type-a’s who don’t sleep and rely on it so we don’t die half way through the day. just kidding. but really.
we also have to have a cup of coffee in between us to feel comfortable talking to just about anyone.
oh, and it tastes fantastic.
Like Zach said above… CHRISTIAN CRACK
socially acceptable drug.
of course I like Christian crack better, but you are right
