Web/Tech Potpourri: iPhone recall, Life Share, Email Hacking, no more Seinfeld for Microsoft
Posted by Rich Kirkpatrick in Current Affairs, Web/Tech, WeblogsHere are today’s perusing on the blogosphere of note…
- Apple has a recall on iPhone 3G compacti-usb power wall chargers due to risk of shock. The prongs potentially could break off and cause a dangerous electrical shock. (more here )
- I am jumping in at Life Share for their 9:00 AM (PST) online spiritual social media experiment put on by Life Church’s Tony Steward and Ragamuffin Soul’s Carlos Whittaker. See a promo by my friend Cynthia Ware at The Digital Sanctuary.
- Microsoft’s ad campaigns move beyond Jerry Seinfield to other celebs, trying to counter the successful Mac vs. PC ads Apple computer produces.
- How NOT to get your email account hacked like Sara Palin experienced this week can be found here. A little common sense can go a long way. For instance, in password reset questions, pick things that can never be googled or found on public records.
What have you found today on the www??
